Reasons for white rust on the surface
Usually there are black spot and whiter rust on the corrugated galvanized steel sheet surface. It is considered as bad treatment and galvanization.
The black spot is formed by the further oxidation of white rust. The causes of white rust are as follows:
(1) the passivation is bad, and the thickness of passivation film is not enough or uneven.
(2) no oil on the surface;
(3) the residual water on the strip surface;
(4) uncompletable drying of passivation;
(5) wet or soaked in transportation or storage.
(6) the storage time of the finished product is too long;
(7)corrugated galvanized steel sheet is contacted or stored with other corrosive media such as acid and alkali.
